PACHAMAMA ECO VILLAGE
PachaMama is a powerful gateway to profound, transformative growth.
In 1999, Raaji and a group of about 70 people moved to Costa Rica alongside Tyohar, the founder of Pachamama. It was a bold experiment and an incredible adventure. Everyone lived without electricity, sleeping in tents, bathing in the river, with bales of straw for horses serving as their living room. Now, 25 years later, Pachamama has blossomed into a thriving oasis where people can experience a different way of life and embark on a profound journey of transformation, healing, self-acceptance, and expanded consciousness. The PachaMama Community is also an intentional and alternative eco-village where people live their day to day lives in harmony with nature.
Costa Rica is a very beautiful country and home to a rich variety of plants and animals. It contains 5% of the world’s biodiversity and round 25% of the country’s land area is inprotected national parks and protected areas. After planting thousands of trees provided by the Costa Rican reforestation department Pachamama has become wild land again and many animals are returning to live amongst the villagers.
